Acts-6、The Missionary miracle by "Paul and Barnabas". Hiro. Oyama

The Missionary miracle by "Paul and Barnabas".
【 And it came about that in Iconium(イコニオム) they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a manner that a great multitude believed, both of Jews and of Greeks. But the Jews who disbelieved stirred up the minds of the Gentiles, and embittered them against the brethren. Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.

But the multitude of the city was divided; and some sided with the Jews, and some with the apostles. And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them, they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia (ルカオニヤ), Lystra(ルステラ) and Derbe(デルベ), and the surrounding region; and there they continued to preach the gospel.
And at Lystra there was sitting a certain man, without strength in his feet, lame from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. This man was listening to Paul as he spoke, who, when he had seen that he had faith to be made well, said with a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” And he leaped up and began to walk.
And when the multitudes saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have become like men and have come down to us.”
And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker. And the priest of Zeus, whose temple oxen and garlands to the gates, and wanted to offer sacrifice with the crowds.

But when the apostles, Barnabas, and Paul, heard of it, they tore their robes and rushed into the crowd, crying out and saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men of the same nature as you, and preach the gospel to you in order that you should turn from these vain things to a living God,
WHO MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM. “And in the generations gone by He permitted all the nations to go their own ways; and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.”
And even saying these things, they with difficulty retrained the crowds from offering sacrifice to them.
It is interesting to see their doing complexed with fear and upsetting!
【 But Jews came from Antioch(アンテオケ) and Iconium(イコニオム), and having won over the multitudes they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. But while the disciples stood around him, he arose and entered the city.
And the next day he went away with Barnabas to Derbe (
And after they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, “Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
And they passed through Pisidia (ピシデヤ) and came into Pamphylia (パンフリヤ). And when they had spoken the word in Perga(ペルガ), they went down to Attalia(アタリヤ); and from there they sailed to Antioch, from which they had been commended to the grace of God for the work that they had accomplished. And when they had arrived and gathered the church together, they began to report all things that God had done with them and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.
And they spent a long time with the disciples.
【 And some men came down from Judea and began teaching the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” And when Paul and Barnabas had great dissension and debate with them, the brethren determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them, should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue.
Therefore, being sent on their way by church, they were passing through both Phoenicia (ピニケ) and Samaria(サマリヤ), describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and were bring great joy to all the brethren.

【 And when they arrived at Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all that God had done with them. But certain ones of the sect of the Pharisees who had believed, stood up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses.” And the apostles and the elders came together to look into this matter.

Here is also brought up the story when you fiction examples.
Just writing that (spitting). If last is theme for the gentile mission itself, circumcision must be prepared before and fellow Christian believer should be not "the circumcision issue.
【 And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Brethren, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. “And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us; and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith. “Now therefore why do you put God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? “But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they also are.”
It is a mild remark is unbelievable, said Peter. It seems appropriate to interpret the statement said another person different from Peter's replaced as Peter said. Who was the original subject?? and after enjoy!)
And all the multitude kept silent, and they were listening to Barnabas and Paul as they were relating what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.
You can see live discussions and debates have been made. Leave took it over, and enormous bulging commandment in the Old-testament, including circumcision, new life is impossible. Can be understood as a parable of new wine into old Wineskins cannot.
And after they had stopped speaking, James(ヤコブ) answered, saying,Brethren, listen to me. “Simeon has related how God first concerned Himself about taking from among the Gentiles a people for His name. “And with this the words of the Prophets agree, just as it is written, ‘・・・“
“Therefore it is my judgement that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles, but that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication() and from what is strangled and from blood. “For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since how is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas ---Judas called Barsabbas (バルサバというユダ), and Silas(シラス), leading men among the brethren,
and they sent this letter by them, “The apostles and the brethren who are elders, to the brethren in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia who are from the Gentiles, greetings.
24, 25 ,
・・29if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well, Farewell.”
Not only as a religious meeting in a General Conference is a great meeting. You deserve to believe Jesus died in this meeting were made and less than a couple of years-time, at this time should be working of the spirit (Holy Spirit).
This spiritual work is Nike a religious Conference in the nearly 300 years later, Christianity is, as soon as a more normal development, I should think.
You want age became a topic away from the aliens and UFOs, but when Peter and Paul be tied to "Trinitarian" the quarrels of Protestants and Catholic doctrine was that aprophet and hope. This approach of angel-like aliens or spirit of the greater depth of "Einstein's principle of relativity and relativity theory" leads to the understanding, we believe that.
By the way the Bible was compiled in its present form, seems to be the 5th century. We of the 21st century, 1600-dating back to 2,000 years ago, is going "back looking angel-like aliens.
【 So when they were sent away, they went down to Antioch; and having gathered the congregation together, they delivered the letter. And when they had read it, they rejoiced because of its encouragement. And Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged and strengthened the brethren with a lengthy message.
And after they had spent time there, they were sent away from the brethren in peace to those who had sent them out.
but it seems good to Silas to remain there.
But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching with many others also the word of the Lord.
・・"Original acts of the Apostles' times the suits call prophets and people in leadership positions. It was both Prophet was called Judas of Barsabbas (バルサバというユダ), and Silas are. There are places where it was lost, but Paul and the Prophet written.

【 And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brethren in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”
And Barnabas was desirous of taking John(
ヨハネ) called Mark(マルコ), along with them also. But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work.
Oh my God, so good two prophets is falling out? It is caused by John called Mark. But John has received special treatment. It would be the point of analysis is why John has received special treatment. It would be points of analysis is why John the Baptist has received special treatment.
It is (as the modern biblical scholars, though) John wrote John’s testament and John the 12-Apostle, "1 missing John blew it" of that same person from. Paul ( received the mission Jesus in person after ) didn’t at all interested in the youngster John taking Koshi-gin-Chaku like walked fatalities.
On the contrary(
on the other hand for Barnabas), testimony of John the 12-Apostle from at the time of Jesus missionary came and saw the whole story of Jesus is no longer critical beam in, and he wanted to take John and he thought it better; it is very natural thinking.
【 And there arose such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus. But Paul chose Silas and departed, being committed by the brethren to the grace of the Lord. And he was traveling through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
・・Barnabas did not appear in after next CHAPTER-16. Again a little bit later, "we" are a diary book told in a subject in sentences, and it will continue until the end and is the author of the diary might be the person who wrote the original companions of Paul.
By the way, let us read the next.
【 And he came also to Derbe and to Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy (テモテ), the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek, and he was well spoken of by the brethren who were in Lystra and Icnium. Paul wanted this man to go with him; and he took him and circumcised (割礼を受け) him because of the Jews who were in those parts, for they knew that his father was a Greek.
Paul also could had made were also circumcised Timothy because he thinks the mess want to avoid as much as possible, and wants a smooth mission. And "say matters agreed-upon the Apostles and elders in Jerusalem to keep the handed it to the people".)
Now while they were passing through the cities, they were delivering the decrees, which had been decided upon by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem, for them to observe. So the churches were being strengthened in the faith, and were increasing in number daily.
【 And they passed through the Phrygian(フルギヤ) and Galatian(ガリラヤ地方) region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia; and when they had come to Mysia(ムシヤ), they were trying to go into Bithynia(ビテニヤ), and the Spirit of Jesus did not permit them; and passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas(トロアス).
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; A certain man of Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia(マケドニヤ人) and help us.” And when he had seen the vision(幻:ヴィジョン), immediately we sought to go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
Reached to this CHAPTER-16, the writer wrote a text for some reason appeared in the "we" is. Just a mistake I think when is followed by narration, since then and the "we" in continues. Which is probably one of this "we", [of Paul's own either or the above "Silas" or “Timothy”] wrote the majority of this Acts of the Apostles.
It made the time Paul wrote a lot of letters, but to keep a diary, so wore the travel diary recording Silas or Timothy.
The diary to the Foundation, and Peter, Stephen, and so forth [oral tradition] added, making this "Apostles" is conjecture and wrapped up the set.
Made with three centuries-will between the 5th century.
May be back and forth earlier, if Peter's martyrdom. It was also reminiscent of wrote on the export part of the acts of the Apostles, the Gospel of Luke Luke and. If this front of the martyrdom of Peter may, after the reasonable.
In any case, apart from the John's revelation and the 4 Gospels, 70~80% of the New Testament stories by Paul's mission is.  "Paul (Paul's philosophy), and also to say good might be. To continue reading.

【 Therefore putting out to sea from Troas(トロアス), we ran a straight course to Samothrace(サモトラケ), and on the day following to Neapolis(ネアポリス); and from there to Philippi(ピリピ), which is a leading city of the district of Macedonia, Roman colony; and we were staying in this city for some days. And on the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to a river side, where we were supposing that there would be a place of prayer; and we sat down and began speaking to the women who had assembled.
And a certain woman named Lydia(
ルデヤ), from the city of Thyatira(テアテラ市), a seller of purple(紫布) fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.
【(話変わって)And it happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a certain slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling. Following after Paul and us, she kept crying out, saying, “These men are bondservants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation.”
And she continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment.
I can understand this story very much. Because I had a little spiritual power since when my small childhood and about carelessly in the corner of my mind "he's out of the way. Even though he should be gone' actually he disappear and end up wondering what was (die). Not once and 2 degrees. About 10 people who has been suddenly died. It is scary, is the ability to recognize. --And then more.
Since the time,  All came closer would be a Jehovah's witness or the man who might be a hard seller, but I invited them into my home and have been listening in two hours or three hours with providing ramen or Bread and tea.
Is that never in the mind, not opponent's misfortune.

【 But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the market place before the authorities, and when they had brought them to the chief magistrates, they said, “These men are throwing our city into confusion, being Jews, and are proclaiming customs which it is not lawful for us to accept or to observe, being Romans.”
And they crowd rose up together against them, and the chief magistrates tore their robes off them, and proceeded to order them to be beaten with rods.
So "they", but the author of the acts of the Apostles says that Paul and Silas, I otherwise so Timothy or Judah more likely came.)
And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to guard them securely;and he, having received such a command, threw them into the inner prison, and fastened their feet in the stocks.
But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison-house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains were unfastened.
Only Peter was rescued at that time had a story: previously, Peter was hell in chains around had rescued Angel. This time, Paul and Silas had many prisoners.Witnesses have many.
Read the deployment later in this topic and we cannot stop recognizing it the scientific work that was in fact what actually happened.
【 And when the jailer had been roused out of sleep and had seen the prison doors opened, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here!” And he called for lights and rushed in and trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas, and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house. And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was bapized, he and all his household. And he brought them into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, having believed in God with his whole household.
Claim this "myth" the prison case records, who will be very much blinder. I think the man illiterate and read aloud. And he never reason to at least 21st century living alone)
Now when day came, the chief magistrates(長官達) sent their policemen, saying, “Release those men.” And the jailer reported these words to Paul, saying, “The chief magistrates have sent to release you. Now there come out and go in peace.”
But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us in public without trail, men who are Romans, and have thrown us into prison; and now are they sending us away secretly? No indeed!” But let them come themselves and bring us out.”
And the policemen reported these words to the chief magistrates. And they were afraid when they heard that they were Romans, and they came and appealed to them, and when they had brought them out, they kept begging them to leave the city. And they went out of the prison and entered the house of Lydia, and when they saw the brethren, they encouraged them and departed.
This documentation is very much natural, isn’t it? You can read it without protesting and gently, can’t you?
Why is it? It is in the prison appears no "Angel come out" it is. "Circumstances may justify a lie" and a good mystery of thought he made it appear to the angels, then volunteered to make sense after the confusion caused. Both Peter and Paul with supernatural powers and would remove the chain and in themselves and opened the door.
But an incredible people around who say this make him likely revered to God, and, so Peter, "because of Jesus" and "the work of Angels", went through in situ (Peter jailbreak incident was not lying about it though).
・・ Continue to the CHAPTER-17 ・・
