　安かろう悪かろうの製品を製造販売するのは中国のお家芸ですが、根本対策は各国政府や政治家にお任せするとして、ここでは個人的にその粗悪品を如何に有効に活用するか、という個人対処方法を考えてみましょう。
例として、たばこをカートン買いした時に、サービスとして提供される安物（簡易）ライター（百円着火装置）について、考えてみましょう。
　たばこに火を付けるライターは、元々は高級品だったのですよ。それを簡便的で安価なライターで一般化し、百円ライターとしたのは、日本人でした。開発当時のライターは使い捨てライターではあったのですが、性能は優秀で、燃料の液体ガスが完全になくなるまで使えたのでした。
　その売れ行きを見て、中国人は『どうせ使い捨てなんたから、最初の頃に着火できればいいんだろ』っとばかり、粗悪品化（機能低下・部品の取っ払い・）という手段で安物化を図って、日本国内メーカーを駆逐したのでした。
まず最初にやったのは【1】火の大きさを調整するハンドルの撤去。次が【2】底に残った液体燃料まで取り出す管の撤去。
この２つの改悪（粗悪品化）によって、原価は半分以下に収められるようになって、日本製の簡易ライターは駆逐されたのでした。（粗悪品によって、百円ライターは市場から追い出されてしまった！）【3】内臓燃料を満杯にしないで、完成品とする。・・・
　【1】【2】によって、着火性能は極端に悪くなりました。しかも、収納されている燃料を全て使い切れなくなったのです。（液体燃料がまだ半分も残ったままで捨てるしかなくなった。⇒ライターのポイ捨てが頻発するようになった）。
　安かろう悪かろうの中国製品ではありますが、カートン買いのサービスで提供されたライターを、出来れば有効に活用したい。『どうすれば、内臓の燃料が完全に無くなるまで使えるか』と、考えて色々と試行錯誤してみました。
　　得られたアイディアを提供します。
（A) 着火しなくなっても捨てないで取って置き、二つのライターを近寄せておいて、同時に点火の動作をさせるのです。まあ、３回も同時着火を試みれば、点火に成功します。
（B)それでも点火できない場合には、強く二三回振ってから、同時着火を試みてごらんなさい。大抵は着火に成功します。
（C)それでも着火しない時には、燃料が少ない方をボミ箱にポイ捨てし、別の百円ライターで同時着火を試みるのです。
ですから、我が家の台所には、中国製の安物ライターがゴロゴロと並んでいます。
どれとどれとを使って同時着火を試みるかを考えるのも、暇つぶしになりますよ。
　もらったばかりの中国製簡易着火装置は、出来るだけ使わないで取っておきます。
なぜか？
それは、外出時の持ち歩き用として使うためです。外出先で同時着火を試みていたら、周囲が不思議がりますからね。
